Loki's Page  

Loki is doing well.  He has finally settled into life in a new home.  He is a
happy boy and giggles a LOT!!  He also drives me crazy with his temper, but
he wouldn't be a 1 1/2 year old without that!!  

He continues to love his daycare, and socializing on a daily basis (it keeps
us both sane!).  It is nice and close (just down the street), and she is
absolutely wonderful with him (adores him!).  He gets learning time, music
time, and even dancing!  He loves his friends and it keeps him growing and
developing.

He is not really talking too much yet.  He just isn't interested!  He
understands language amazingly well!!  (you can tell him to get or do
anything, and he will do it)  He uses sign language (about a dozen words),
so we get through communicating nicely!

We have a pediatrician that is very concerned, watchful, and proactive
regarding Loki's possible inheritance of any cancer genes.  She has even
offered to do a brain scan so we have a baseline for any developments that
may show up.  She assures me that all of her colleagues insist that it is not
hereditary, but understands my concerns and has given me signs to watch
for.  

He's even seen his first dentist!!!
